ConsensusDocs Approves New Master Subcontract and Releases New Technology Platform

The ConsensusDocs Content Advisory Council, which includes representatives from the 40 organizations participating in the ConsensusDocs coalition and are subject matter experts in construction contracts, approved a new master subcontract agreement (MSA) and project work order (PWO). These new standard documents are expected to be published this summer.

On March 4th, the ConsensusDocs Coalition released a new technology platform and website. Users still have the flexibility to share offline through email or the ConsensusDocs platform, and will continue to edit the documents in Microsoft Word. The new website and updated platform now makes it easier to:

• Add supporting documents to your contracts in the system.
• Use document comparison tools (you can even compare PDFs to Word).
• Negotiate at the project level or individual contract level.
