Washington, D.C. – The AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) has joined ConsensusDocs, a unique coalition of 40+ associations that produces best practice contracts that are fair and balanced for the entire design and construction industry.

ACG is pleased to join the ConsensusDocs Coalition to give commissioning authorities a voice and proactive input into the development of contracts written by and for the entire industry,” said Ray Bert, ACG’s Executive Director.

Established in 2004, ACG is a non-profit association dedicated to the advancement of independent third-party commissioning professionals through advocacy, certification, and education. The ACG membership is comprised of qualified commissioning companies committed to the principles of serving as independent advocates for the building owner to ensure that buildings operate as designed and intended.

ConsensusDocs are the only contracts endorsed by 40+ leading design and construction industry organizations. With a catalog of 100+ contract documents addressing all methods of project delivery, ConsensusDocs contracts incorporate fair risk allocation and best practices to represent the project’s best interests.
