Design Professional and Consultant Agreement - 250

This is a standard agreement between a Design Professional and its Consultant (architect, engineer, specifier) to perform architectural or engineering services. This agreement is used by the Design Professional of record to subcontract certain elements of the design work. This agreement addresses compensation, insurance requirements, work scope responsibilities, work site visits, and cost estimates.

This agreement includes Basic Services, which includes service for schematic design documents, design development documents, construction documents, design coordination, bidding assistance, submittals, worksite visits, meetings, inspections. The parties may elect Additional Services.

This agreement addresses the schedule of such services, confidentiality; consequential damages, delays by Design Professional or Owner, compensation, indemnity, termination, dispute resolution and mitigation, ownership of documents, and standard of care.
