Additional Terms and Conditions to Purchase Order for Commodity Goods - 702.1

This form document is used to establish the terms and conditions for a ConsensusDocs 702 Standard Purchase Order for Commodity Goods purchase order. The general conditions of this document include the responsibilities allocated to each party and address critical construction law contract issues. The contract issues include: exhibits and documents, schedule, acceptance and extent of the agreement, changes, submittals, force majeure (extenuating circumstances that are out of the sellers control), shipping, safety, inspection, termination for convenience, termination for cause, warranty, payment, waiver of consequential damages, waiver, assignment, dispute resolution and mitigation, choice of law, venue, and much more. The included construction law contract issues are fair for all parties involved. Parties can modify the terms of the agreement for their individual project needs and state law requirements.
