This contract document is used to formalize changes in the work and adjustments to contract time and price. Common causes for use of a change order are incorrect estimates of a project’s work, environmental factors such as extreme weather, and additions to the scope of a project’s work. Both parties sign this mutually acceptable adjustment to time or price or both. This is the most used administrative document. This change order provides written documentation of an adjustment to a Construction Manager’s fee as well as for changes in completion date.
