This purchase order is for the purchase of commodity goods (use ConsensusDocs 703 for noncommodity goods) and assigns risks and liabilities where each party has control. This form document includes such information such as the buyer and seller, project name, payment and price, materials, and parties can modify the terms of the agreement for their individual project needs and state law requirements. Use ConsensusDocs 702.1 for the Terms and Conditions. It is worth noting that commodity goods are more easily returned and typically are not uniquely fabricated for one construction project.

Client Success Stories Using This Contract

I recommend ConsensusDocs to my clients – Owners, General Contractors, and Subcontractors, alike – as a better alternative to other standard industry forms and far more fair and balanced than most custom forms. ConsensusDocs truly do advance the best interests of the project, rather than the best interests of a single participant.
