The ConsensusDocs® 830 – Standard Owner and Construction Manager As Agent Agreement is used to by the Owner of a construction project to designate a Construction manager as an agent. Common causes for use of a change order are incorrect estimates of a project’s work, environmental factors such as extreme weather, and additions to the scope of a project’s work. The Owner’s authorized representative and the trade contractor both sign this mutually acceptable adjustment to time, price, or both.
