Coalition To Improve Construction Industry Increases 95% in Six Years
Washington, D.C. – The American Institute of Constructors (AIC) has become the 39th member of ConsensusDocs, a unique coalition that produces best practice contracts for the design and construction industry.
“AIC is pleased to join the ConsensusDocs Coalition,” stated AIC Chief Operating Officer Joseph R. Sapp. “Joining the Coalition furthers AIC’s goals of generating public trust and confidence in the industry, and assists our members by providing us a seat at the drafting table, along with other valuable member benefits.”
AIC is a non-profit organization that serves as the national qualifying body of professional constructors. Among AIC’s purposes is to promote excellence in the industry by establishing standards of ethics and competence, promoting the advancement of construction-related fields, and facilitating the exchange of information and ideas within the industry. Over 2,000 professionals each year sit for AIC’s Associate Constructor (AC) or Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) certification examinations.
